Seisho Jutsu
(Note: Anything within parenthesis is the effect of the jutsu if applied to the Head Branch's abilities.)
MEIANTON:
Name of Jutsu: Meianton: Mage-kō no Jutsu (Light Release: Light-Bending Technique)
Rank: D
Range: Self
Handseals: Tiger, Ram, Bird
Effect: The user holds one hand in front of himself and spreads the lightning and fire based chakra in a thin sheet around himself. This sheet condenses into the user's body shape and bends all light around it, granting the user a sort of invisibility. This technique lasts for up to an entire topic, so long as the user keeps the shield in shape.
Weaknesses: Keeping the chakra's shape requires one point of chakra per post. Anyone able to see or sense chakra can easily detect the user, as only regular sight is affected.


[i]Name of Jutsu: Meianton: Uchigawa no hikari (Light Release: Inner Light)
Rank: C

Handseals: Tiger
Effect: After forming the required hand seal, if applicable, the user will gather his will and lightning release chakra into a portion of his body. Then, with a burst of focus, the user will combine and release both entities, causing a reaction within the entirety of that portion of the body. The lightning will flare up, its glow being fueled by will, and its shocking properties being quelled at the same time. That portion will light up, with a glow bright enough to blind anything within 1 (2) meters, and to illuminate the surrounding 10 (20) meters.
Weaknesses: This technique will last for three posts, however, a person will only be blinded upon first looking at it. After their eyes are given ten or more seconds to refocus, they become a bit more resilient to the technique for that one use. The user is immune to the blinding effect, as are all who avoid eye contact, however, if the user is of the Kyuusaisha, he will be blinded, in addition to his eyes taking thirty seconds to refocus.



Name of Jutsu: Meianton: Shainingusutā no Jutsu (Light Release: Shining Star Technique)

Range: 20 Meters (40 Meters)
Handseals: Bird
Effect: The user extends his hand outward toward the sky. From his palm a bright yellow orb of light will shoot out to any desired position, where it will remain, floating. This orb, when positioned, will pulsate with an immensely bright light, blinding all those within a twenty (forty) meter radius of the orb for one post after looking at it. The ball itself is quite small, about the size of a baseball, though it appears more than thrice that large due to the light, and will shock anything near it with a strength similar to static electricity; not much of a jolt, but enough to make someone stop touching it.
Weaknesses: Used mostly as a diversion, causes no serious damage. Dark based techniques can nullify the light. Orb disperses after three posts.



Name of Jutsu: Meianton: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Dark Release: Shadow Clone Technique)

Effect: The user takes the properties of the Shadow Clone Technique, and applies it to all nearby shadows. The shadows will contort and rise, into the shape and likeness of the user, with no noticeable difference. The cool thing is that if the user is standing in the shadow when this is activated, he can actually switch places with one of the shadow clones, to further confuse the enemy. These clones are impossible to determine as anything but the user, even by the all-seeing Byakugan. 
Weaknesses: Any number of clones may be created for the same cost, and may continuously be created for up to three posts. However, these clones are mere illusions and will vanish upon touch.



Name of Jutsu: Meianton:Kage Toransu (Dark Release: Shadow Trance)
Rank: B
Range: Sight
Handseals: N/A
Effect: After activating the Dark Release: Shadow Clone illusion, the user need but make eye contact with a target to put them under a this Genjutsu. Once hit, the target will think it is being overwhelmed by the shadow clones, which in this illusion will appear very real. The clones will converge on the target, dodging, countering, and parrying each and every attack the target launches until they are all upon it. The clones will then revert to shadows on the ground and completely shroud the target, depriving it of light and oxygen. The effect is unconsciousness if not broken, and 1 post of blindness if broken.
Weaknesses: Dark Release: Shadow Clone must be in effect. Target is not actually harmed.



Name of Jutsu: Meianton: Yami no ōbu (Dark Release: Orb of Darkness)
Rank: B
Range: 30 Meters (60 Meters)
Handseals: Tiger
Effect: Using the flame property of Meianton, the user can stretch out his hand to launch a small black orb. This orb starts out small, but upon reaching its target, will expand to nearly thirty (sixty) meters in diameter. This darkness is unlike most others in that it is unable to be pierced by light. Nothing within this orb can see, even the Kyuusaisha.
Weaknesses: Wears off after three posts. User is also unable to see while in the orb. Orb must be anchored to a physical object; it can't float.



Name of Jutsu: Meianton: Meian Kōkan (Dark Release: Light and Darkness Exchange)
Rank: S
Range: 10 Kilometers (20 Kilometers)
Handseals: Tiger, Ox, Dog, Tiger, Bird, Snake
Effect: The user spreads a fine sheet of chakra over an immense area before initiating the link to the Shadow Realm. Rather than transporting himself to the shadows, the user instead summons a property of that Realm into this one. The light within the range will become dark, and the dark will become light, a complete swap. Only the light and dark are affected, leaving any within confused, but completely unharmed.
Weaknesses: Light may pierce this darkness just like any other. The swap lasts for twenty of the user's posts.



Name of Jutsu: Meianton: Shūkō bīmu (Light Release: Condensed Light Beam)
Rank: C
Range: 10 Meters (20 Meters)
Handseals: Tiger, Bird
Effect: Using a combination of the speedy qualities of lightning and the melting qualities of fire, the user enacts a steady beam of light with his will. This beam extends at the speed of light, while the heat of the beam travels only half that speed, to a maximum of ten (twenty) meters, burning through anything and everything in its path. If the user so chooses, he may fire off up to three of these in rapid succession, or hold one on his finger to wield as a sort of sword for a single post. The melting capabilities reach the density of metal, while the incineration effect reaches the density of wood. This beam can burn through a human with little trouble, aside from taking a second or two to do so. Weapons are more difficult, but, provided the light remains on them for the duration of the shot, they too, will bend before its heat.
Weaknesses: Water will split the beam into millions of smaller beams, thereby nullifying any harmful effects. The light travels faster than the heat, and will reflect from any mirror type object, taking the heat with it to leave the object unscathed. Takes several seconds to burn into a human, granting a slim chance of escape; inanimate plants or smaller animals have no chance whatsoever.


KITSUNETSUKI:
Name of Jutsu: Kaigan (Spiritual Awakening)
Rank: A
Range: Self
Handseals: N/A
Effect: The Kaigan, while a somewhat complex technique, is the main jutsu used by the Seisho. It allows for an unleashing of the spirit in order to induce a spike in one's abilities. In earlier levels, this spike is fairly small, and covers a wide variety, while the later levels are more focused and powerful. This transformation, as it can be called, is noticeable by the aura that surrounds the user when active. This aura is a manifestation of one's spirit, which means that the aura's color is determined by the spirit's color, of the user's alignment. A person of good will have a light golden aura that encompasses the user from head to toe like a flame, rising upwards from a circle of pressurized force at the user's feet. This circle serves no other purpose than to act as a conduit for the spirit. If the user is of evil, this aura is a dark purple color, and spirals all around the user constantly rather than act as a flame. The only exceptions to these colors are the Head and Cosmic Branches. Regardless of alignment, the Head Branch's aura will always be golden, and the Cosmic Branch dark purple. The following levels may be trained as the corresponding ranks, and requires a portion of will as upkeep.

Level 1 (D-Rank)- The user is blanketed with the aforementioned aura, and has each of his stats multiplied by 1.1. This costs 1 point of will for every post kept active.

Level 2 (C-Rank)- The aura becomes slightly stronger, and a bit more potent in color, only enough to tell that there is a difference from the first level. All stats are multiplied by 1.2. This costs two points of will for every post kept active.

Level 3 (B-Rank)- The aura now has an effect on the user, making his hair stand straight up and alter its color to that of the aura, golden for good, black for evil. The clothes are also altered slightly, becoming either lighter or darker in color according to the user's aura.
Physical Branch: Physical stats are now multimedia by 1.3.
Mental Branch: Mental stats are now multiplied by 1.4.
Members of the Cosmic and Head Branches may choose one of the above bonuses. This bonus must be chosen at activation, and may not change until the Kaigan has ended. This costs three points of will per post kept active.

Level 4 (A-Rank)- The aura becomes infused with the user, keeping the color-altering and hair standing affects in place, while the flaming or spiraling stops completely.
Mental Branch: All mental stats are multiplied by 1.5.
Physical Branch: All physical stats are multiplied by 1.4.
Cosmic and Head Branches may choose either bonus, and retain their aura. This costs five points of will per post kept active.

Level 5 (S-Rank)- Head Branch: The user's body is enclosed by the intense golden color, so that he appears as a human outline of golden energy. The same happens to a member of the Cosmic Branch, though his features will still be visible, unlike the Head Branch. The dark purple aura becomes black, and cases the user's skin, turning it black. The fingertips will elongate to form claws, the hair will turn white and return to its original position, and the user's clothes will become a combination of black and red. When in this form, members of the Head Branch may use any spirit jutsu without cost, and members of the Cosmic Branch may use Meianton techniques without cost. This costs seven points of will for every post kept active.
Weaknesses: The severe cost of will per post. This technique is unaffected by the Head Branch's abilities.



Name of Jutsu: Seishin no mezame (Spiritual Awakening)

Effect: This is what can be called an advancement of the Kaigan, wherein a member may bolster the boost granted, but at the same time must focus it greatly. This may be used by any member who has reached the maximum level of Kaigan that they may reach. In this form, the user's alignment comes into play in the form of yet another manifestation of spirit. In the final form of the Kaigan, the user's body will transform. This may only be used in the Kaigan's final form. If the user is good, feathery wings with the same color as their aura will emerge from the shoulder blades, allowing for flight and a decent set of defense, as these wings are large enough to encase the user's anterior (frontal) body. If the user is evil, songs of the exact same size and functionality will emerge from the shoulder blades; however, these wings, also the color of the user's aura, are shaped like that of Dragon's wings, with a thin, scaly structure. These wings, when used for defense, add 25% to the user's constitution. Flight, the main purpose of these constructs, may be used whenever the user feels the need, for as long as desired. In addition, there comes a weapon function to this. Provided the user has the appropriate style, any weapon may be created from sheer willpower. This weapon is as strong as the user's alignment. Meaning the more evil or good a person is, the more these weapons become indestructible. At the peak, only the sword of Kusanagi can break or pierce these weapons. Evil weapons will always be jagged and rough on the blades or ends, and good will always be smooth and sleek in appearance. If a person is neutral, truly neutral, then he will gain neither wings nor weapons from this technique. Instead, he will gain a 25% boost to each and every stat pertaining to his branch for as long as this remains active. This bonus stacks on any other bonuses.
Weaknesses: A cost of three will points per post is added to the cost of the Kaigan. The final form of the Kaigan must be active at all times to keep this technique active.



Name of Jutsu: Heimen tensō gijutsu (Plane Transfer Technique)

Range: Touch
Handseals: N/A
Effect: This technique is used as a method to transfer oneself into the plane that is attached to the user's specific branch. This means any member of any branch may learn it, but it will have different effects for each branch. However, the activation is the same for any member. The user flares his spirit for just a moment, using up exactly seven points of will, which *must* be immediately restored with chakra. Afterwards, the effect will take place.
Physical Branch: The user slowly fades into nothing, becoming first intangible, then transparent. Upon transparency, the user will have been completely transferred into the Ethereal Plane, along with up to two other people or objects that have a trace of his will. This requires first planting one point of will on each desired target. The transfer, once complete, lasts for a total of posts equal to the user's highest stat divided by the number of people within the plane (up to three). Objects being worn by a person or object taken within the plane will be automatically taken in as well, without counting towards anything.
Mental Branch: The user will twist into vortex, drawing in anything within sight currently being affected by a Genjutsu to the Astral Plane. This has a more powerful transport, since it lasts until at least one person can overwhelm the user's Genjutsu. Otherwise, the user must be defeated before escape is possible. This isn't impossible, since the Astral Plane brings life to anyone's imagination.
Head Branch: The user's body will drop to the ground, along with any other living thin in contact with him. All these things will have their soul removed and taken to the Spiritual Realm, where all souls go upon leaving the body. Exit is made possible by simply making contact with one's body. However, a person has only seven posts before their body will begin to decay, causing a steady decrease of constitution at a rate of one point per post. When the constitution reaches zero, the body becomes inhabitable, and the owner is trapped within the Spiritual Realm until able to possess another suitable body.
Cosmic Branch: Any nearby shadow that the member decides on will instantly become a portal to the Shadow Realm, allowing passage for the next five seconds. Anything may enter during that five second window, and escape is made by simply stepping through one of the many passages to the Material Plane. The user may use this once, and have any shadow become a portal at will for the next ten posts without cost.
Weaknesses: Stated above.



Name of Jutsu: Kōreijutsu-sha no chūō-chi (Spiritualist Median)
Rank: B
Range: Touch
Handseals: Tiger, Ox, Boar
Effect: The user places his hand upon any living object containing a soul and a will, concentrating a high amount of chakra into that hand. This chakra then latches onto and infects the target's spirit. The chakra draws forth the spirit, pulling out from even the most remote points a power that even the target may not know it contains. This drawing out of hidden strength will create a mild aura of the color of the target's alignment, while one stat will gain an increase. If the target is an animal, or similar creature, the lowest stat will be multiplied by 1.1 (1.2). If the target is a human, the highest stat will be multiplied by 1.1 (1.2). If the target has a high spirit, such as a Seisho or Kyuusaisha, the highest stat will be multiplied by 1.2 (1.3).
Weaknesses: This effect wears off after ten posts, and has a cool down time of ten posts. During the cool down time, the target will suffer a loss to the increased stat equal to the amount it was increased.



Name of Jutsu: Seishin no kengen no Jutsu (Spirit Manifestation Technique)

Range: 10 Meters
Handseals: Tiger
Effect: The user may use his will to create weightless objects out of nothing. These objects may range in size and shape from a pebble to a full size minivan, but are commonly fashioned as weapons. The user's will is reusable when using this technique, and so only one cost is assessed, regardless of the amount of objects created. Typically, weapon masters of the Seisho use this technique for a virtually endless supply of ninja tools and weapons to use. The interesting thing about these objects, however, is that they only affect a target's spirit, and will simply phase through anything else. Even better, a sharp object is capable of severing a target's spirit, resulting in a one post disabling of the severed area. (I.E: a cut to the shoulder results in the arm being useless for a post).
Weaknesses: Only a maximum of two (four) objects may exist with this; any third (fifth) object's creation will herald the end of the first created object, and so on. This technique uses will as a power source. Objects created this way may have no interaction with lifeless objects.


Name of Jutsu: Heimen• masutarī (Planar Mastery)
Rank: S
Range: 30 Meters (60 Meters)
Handseals: Snake
Effect: The user holds the snake hand deal and spreads his chakra over a large area of up to 30 (60) meters. After one full post of holding the hand seal, the user may freely transport portions of the plane to which he is attached into the Material Plane within that area. There is no warning when this occurs; the user simply wills the space to change and it does. When it happens, the targeted area, which may be no larger than 5 (10) meters, will twist and distort, similar to Kamui, and will change into the likeness of the user's plane. This is effective when trying to disorient foes, as only the user can possibly know what the terrain will change into, whether it be turning a tree into a rock, a pile of dirt, a tiny light, or a monstrous shadow squirrel.
Weaknesses: Can only be used within the 30 (60) meter area. May not target living creatures. Requires a one-time cost.


Name of Jutsu: Bessekai no bijon (Otherworldly Vision)

Range: 50 Meters
Handseals: None
Effect: The user places his hand on the ground as if activating a summoning technique. As he does this, chakra is spread all over the ground in a fifty meter radius of the user. This chakra then rises like smoke in the air, though still invisible. The user then activates the plane transference technique on his chakra alone, which will open a portal into the user's attached plane. This portal will only affect two senses of the material plane: sight and sound. Within that fifty meters, anything within that area of the other plane will become both visible and audible. The Physical Branch will reveal the creatures of the Ethereal Plane, which are somewhat larger than their counterparts on the Material Plane and have ghostly appearance to them, each will a silver color. The Mental Branch will reveal a portion of the Astral Plane, meaning that whatsoever the user wishes to be there, it will. Imagination is power in relation to the Astral Plane. The Head Branch will reveal all the souls lingering within that area of the Spiritual Plane; this includes any and all humans, animals, or plants that may be there. The Cosmic Branch is similar to the Mental Branch here, in that they too may create anything they wish to appear; however, everything created by this branch will be as black as the Shadow Realm, and even the cutest of creations will look as horrifying as a monstrous demon lord.
Weaknesses: Requires prior knowledge of the Plane Transference technique. The creatures/people/creations made by this jutsu are only visible and audible, meaning that they give off no smell and will phase through anything of the Material Plane. This does not refute how real they look of course. This technique drains 1 point of will for every three posts it is active.



Name of Jutsu: Bessekai no sonzai (Otherworldly Presence)
Rank: B
Range: 50 Meters
Handseals: None
Effect: This is the advanced version of the Bessekai no bijon, and is to be used as a follow up. After the Otherworldly Vision technique has been activated, the user will place his hand on the ground once more, and spread another layer of chakra over the ground. However, this time, the portal will be fully opened, and all five senses will be apparent. The creatures will not only be visible and audible, but real. These creatures and creations become as real as anything else in the Material Plane, and will be able to inflict damage as would any other creature.
Weaknesses: Creatures materialized by this must exist in the Material Plane, and will be sized according to the Material Plane's version. I.E: ten foot shadow lion becomes a normal five foot tall shadow lion.


Name of Jutsu: Seishinbakudan (Spirit Bomb)
Rank: S
Range: 100 Meters (200 Meters)
Handseals: Tiger, Ram, Ox, Tiger, Snake
Effect: The user holds both hands out, palms open, in front of himself. A serious amount of will infused chakra is released from those hands, stretching out to the surrounding environment as though leaving the user's body permanently. However, this chakra will draw in all of the chakra and will of the environment itself, into the user's hands. This energy will condense itself into a small orb, about the size of a basketball, before becoming ready to launch. Upon the user's mental command, the orb will fire, towards whatever it is the user is facing. When this basketball of energy strikes an object, it expands tremendously fast, up to its normal size of ten (twenty) times larger. Anything struck with this orb's ensuing explosion will literally have its spirit scrambled together; do while this technique does not cause death, it can very well draw in the spirit of everything in that 30 (60) meter area into a single entity. Multiple personalities are likely to ensue, along with the death of any plant life near the user.
Weaknesses: The orb will fade away after reaching the hundred meter mark when fired. Three posts of charging are required before launching, this time is reduced to two posts when used in a lively area, such as a forest. The orb is easy to set off, and once it explodes, there is no recovering the lost energy. This technique relies entirely upon will for a power source.



PHYSICAL:
Name of Jutsu: Ethereal Figurine)
Rank: A
Range: N/A
Handseals: N/A
Effect: This technique allows for a member of the Physical Branch to create a permanent link to the Ethereal Plane via a figurine. This figurine must be made of pure onyx, and must be chiseled by the user. The chiseling must be precise, requiring at least a 15 in dexterity. When chiseling the onyx figurine, the user envisions an animal, whether real or mythical, and carves its likeness into the six inch block of onyx. After the carving is complete, the user will begin the process of shifting planes, while at the same time embedding twelve points of will into the figurine. Obviously this will require the user to transfer at least two points of chakra into will. When this is done, the plane shifting will fail halfway through, and the user will be put back into the Material Plane, with the completed figurine in hand. From now on, the user need but call the figurine's name, which he is to carve into the base of the figurine. When this happens, the creature will materialize in front of the user. The user may divvy a total of seventy stat points to the creature.

Weaknesses: Any creature, even a dragon, may be carved into the onyx and be summoned. However, any giant creatures will materialize no taller than six feet when standing. In addition, the creatures will have no abilities, except flight if it contains wings. All creatures that would normally be shorter than this will appear as they would in the Material Plane. The creature will be most uncooperative during the first few summonings, but after three or more battles alongside the user, the creature will begin to feel attached. This creates a friendship great enough to warrant the creature to transport the user back into the Ethereal Plane. The creature may only take one ally into the Ethereal Plane, and the only way out is through use of a figurine. Being outside of the Ethereal Plane taxes the creature, and will lose 1 point in each stat for every post it is summoned. Once it reaches zero, the figurine is destroyed and the creature is returned to the Ethereal Plane. It does not require a member of the Physical Branch to use these figurines, only to create. These are considered the most prized gifts in all of the Seisho.
There may only be one statue of each type of creature.



Name of Jutsu: Teian chūnyū no Jutsu (Suggestion Implantation Technique)
Rank: B
Range: Touch
Handseals: Tiger
Effect: The user touches the target's body, and reaches in with his spiritual arm. Through this connection the user can implant chakra in the form of nervous signals, which will induce the brain to release certain hormones or enact physical responses. With this technique, the user may cause the target to suffer from one overwhelming emotion and one overwhelming symptom. These specific choices are all up to the user. For example, with but a touch the target will be stricken with tremendous fear and severe shivers, as if facing its greatest fear whilst in the biting cold.
Weaknesses: The effects will wear off in three of the target's posts.



Name of Jutsu: Seishin-tekina bōei (Spiritual Defense)
Rank: A
Range: 1 Meter
Handseals: Tiger
Effect: Somehow a member of the Physical Branch caught a glimpse of the Almighty Push ability of the Rinnegan and decided to make a jutsu similar to it; this is that jutsu. The user extends his will outwards in all directions as a solid, invisible barrier. This construct will block out any spiritual presence, with no discrimination. Surprisingly, this costs no chakra to start with, but will require a stuff amount of will whenever a force meets with the barrier. Every time the barrier is struck, the impacted spot will light up with the user's natural spirit color, and the user will be taxed according to the opposing force. A physical strike, regardless of strength, will take 1 point of will to block. A technique will require a point of will for every two points of chakra within the jutsu. Objects thrown by living objects from a distance less than 20 meters takes one point. Anything touched by a living object will take a minute amount of that object's spirit, and, while most times this spirit is undetectable, this technique will recognize it and block it out. Nothing with any sort of spiritual residual may pass in or out of this barrier.
Weaknesses: The barrier affects the user as well, though it will always remain exactly one meter away on all sides. Objects thrown from more than 20 meters away will no longer have a distinguishable spiritual residual, and will pass through the barrier with ease. Anything without a spiritual residual may pass through the barrier, which does not include plants, animals, or anything else relatively alive.



Name of Jutsu: Kinjutsu: SemiBodi baishū (Forbidden Technique: Semi-Body Takeover)
Rank: A
Range: Touch
Handseals: N/A
Effect: The user concentrates on the spirit within one of his limbs, most commonly the right or left arm. His spirit will then detach itself from the limb, and with it, he can grab hold of the target's spiritual body. The user's spirit is invisible to the target until contact is made. When the user's spirit has made contact, he may severe his connection to it, and force it to merge with the same spiritual limb of the target (right arm with right arm, etc., etc.). From that point onward, the user gains control of the target's affected limb, and may freely control it for up to fifty meters before the connection loses range. The user need but touch the target's affected limb to regain his spiritual limb. This may be used on as many limbs as the user wishes to spare.
Weaknesses: This technique may not affect the head or torso. Using this jutsu requires absolutely no chakra or will, but instead the user's soul, which is Wu it is labeled a Kinjutsu. However, no points are spent. Instead, the user runs the risk of permanently losing his spiritual limb, and will never again be able to use that limb until he manages to regain it from the target. Once the limb is regained, it must remain in place for the remainder of the topic, or it will never be able to return to the user again. To reiterate the point, the user loses any control over any limb whose spirit is used for this technique; the limb will remain limp and useless for the duration of the technique, and will eventually die if left in that condition for more than ten posts.



Mental Branch:


Name of Jutsu: Kyōfushō no Jutsu (Phobia Technique)
Rank: A
Range: Touch
Handseals: Tiger
Effect: The user places his hand on the target's forehead, and forces a portion of his chakra into the brain. This chakra will target the portion of the target's brain that controls fears, more specifically phobias. The user may fashion an entirely near fear to form in the target's mind, rational or not. The options can range from spiders to cupcakes, and everything in between. The target will be deathly afraid of that object, and will remain so until it manages to overcome that fear, or until a medic fixes the damage caused to the target's brain by the user. The opposite effect may also be applied, where the user can completely remove any fears the target holds.
Weaknesses: Contact must be kept for the duration of this technique. Overcoming the phobia is possible after at least one full post spent in fear, and is only possible on humans and intelligent animals.



Name of Jutsu: Kenbō no Jutsu (Amnesia Technique)

Effect: The user places his hand upon the target's forehead. Chakra seeps into the target's mind, opening an access point to the memories stored within the brain. The user is then able to force his chakra into the target's brain in order to temporarily seal off certain memories, or cease all memory creation for a given time. This all depends entirely upon the amount of chakra used. For every point used above 0, the target will lose 1 post from any 1 topic. For every point used above 5, the target will lose two posts from any 1 topic. For every point used above 10, the target loses any 1 topic. For every point used above 15, the target loses any 2 topics. For 20 points, the target loses anything not in his background. For 25 points, the target suffers complete amnesia, and is unable to form any new memories, short term or long term. The user may also remove all hindrances from the target's memory, effectively restoring any lost memories and granting a temporary photographic memory that lasts for seven posts.
Weaknesses: Any effects caused by this jutsu other than complete amnesia will wear off in seven of the target's posts. Complete amnesia must be treated by a medic or will wear off in thirty of the target's posts. Contact must be held for the duration of this technique. Sensory memory remains functional.

Name of Jutsu: Tamashī no kyūshū no Jutsu (Soul Absorption Technique)

Effect: Once a person dies, their soul removes itself from its host body and progresses into the next world. However, the soul must first pass through the Spiritual Plane, in order to determine whether it must remain for a time, or to where it shall pass on. This is when a member of the Head Branch who is capable of sensing spirit may seize this soul. By simply shrouding the soul with his own will, the user may take hold of the soul and pull it in. Once the soul makes contact with the user, it will be instantly split in two. The user must choose between the mental half or the physical half, and condense that half over him with his will. Even attempting to take both will result in the immediate failure of the technique. Once the chosen half is absorbed, the user transfers back into the Material Plane, where a portion of that soul is integrated Ito his body. The user will gain three points in the highest stat of the chosen half. For example, if the target soul's physical side was chosen, and its highest physical stat was strength, the user would gain three points in strength.
Weaknesses: The soul will have already passed on if this technique is not used within two of the user's post after the target's death. The user must be able to sense spirit and traverse into the Spiritual Plane. This requires no chakra or will to be spent, but the user must have at least ten points of will in order to draw in the soul.
